baker's dozen

i would have posted this earlier but i got caught up with work/playing dominoes and hackeysack.

mari and i baked cupcakes last night but we both fell asleep so i didnt get to put frosting on them until early this morning. i have yet to eat one so im not sure how they turned out. mari had one this morning after i frosted them, and she said it was delicous. she brought some to work for her co-workers. baking cupcakes reminded me of when i was younger and my mom and i would bake them so i could bring them in to school to share for my birthday. i would have done that last week, but there's too many people to bake cupcakes for here at work that it would just be too much for me to handle. but it was funny last night because i found out that mari had never made cupcakes before, so it was pretty interesting showing her the process.

i was able to pick up my xbox360 yesterday from fedex. i will play some halo3 tonight.

my god-daughter kaleigh is coming to visit later. its a good thing we made cupcakes. there's nothing better than giving a 2 yr old sugar!
