so i got in to work pretty late today. i usually try to make it a point to get to work around or before 7-715. but today i got in at 900. the 805 was a parking lot, so we took the 125 since we have one of those transponders for the fastrak toll, which is a pretty cool device. but we left the house at 725 and i didnt get to work til 900...fuckin ridiculous!!! oh well, its friday and i dont have to be anywhere tonight anyway. so i'll probably get out of this joint at around 6. and by the time 430 comes around, most of the people will be out of the office, so maybe i can sneak a nap under my desk =).
so last night, EVERYONE from cdg went to strauss. i swear there was at least 30 people there, which is probably the deepest we've ever been. i remember when i first started working here and fred brought me along to strauss, i think there was about 8 of us and we all fit on one table. last night, we had 3 reservations and about 6-8 tables. re-dong-culous! but i had fun and it was cool hangin out with these people outside of work nahmsayin? i was only planning on having a couple of pints and maybe a few 'shots' of the free beer, but somehow i ended up having about twice that amount. i'd like to thank fred for bringin along andie, who seemed to enjoy forcing beer down our throats, which isnt a such a bad thing i guess. i gotta stop bein a lil bitch. =) i think they (fred and andie) tried to order a round of shots for our table, and i remember shaking my head in disapproval, since i already had enough alcohol in my system. luckily, they dont serve liquor at strauss, so that got me off the hook. afterwards, some of us ended up at shanel's house for a little bit, hung out, had some pizza, listened to some music, and learned the soulja boy dance....(note to self: don't dance. ever again.) im sure there were a lot of juicy details that i left out, but i still had a lot of fun, good times with good people (fred, shanel, ronnie, marcos, andie, vanessa, etc....)
